Lunch & Learn: Navigating the Legal Ethics of COVID-19

This one hour lunch and learn will be an interactive experience for the participant.  The participant will learn best practices concerning a wide range of topics on how COVID-19 has and will continue to affect the work environment and the organization.  These topics will include how to work with organization management to maintain a healthy workplace using guidance from the CDC, the Pa. Dept. of Health, and OSHA; adjusting to a permanent remote workforce, which will include workers’ compensation, timekeeping, overtime, and applicability of state/local laws; legal issues regarding mandating the Covid-19 vaccine and privacy issues regarding infections and vaccinations; and updating handbooks to account for “Covid law”.

This meeting will satisfy the the requirements for 1 SHRM PDC and has been approved for 1 Business/Strategic recertification credit through HRCI.  This course will also satisfy the new HRCI Ethics requirement necessary for recertification in 2021.
