About the presenter:

Eric “accidentally” got his start in human resources in college, turning a three-month project for an expanding grocery chain into eight years of progression through various HR roles. He then spent five years as the head of human resources for the United Colors of Benetton and Sisley stores in North America while also leading HR work to support higher end fashion brands, restaurants, and the gourmet food retailer Balducci’s Market.

In 2008, Eric started his own HR consulting company in Washington, DC, initially focused on talent acquisition but expanding to provide HR services for small companies. Eventually, the services broadened even more to helping companies assess and improve the effectiveness of their HR departments, and build a solid culture and people strategy. Eric has spoken several times Capitol Hill and The White House on topics such as wages, benefits/health care, unemployment, and executive and gender wage gaps. He has been a featured guest on SiriusXM’s former Martha Stewart Living Radio station, coaching callers in their careers and development, and presented or participated in conferences and public panels where audiences related to his straightforward approach and honest sharing of his personal stories.

In addition to running his own organization, Eric currently serves as the Director of Career & Experience Administration for Retail Business Services, a company of Ahold Delhaize USA, leading the teams who manage the recruiting/onboarding, talent administration, and learning for the great local brands and support offices of ADUSA.
