Please join HRP of CPA as we gather to celebrate the holidays and all that we have accomplished over the past year. Our presenter is Julie Shore, owner of Career Development Advisors, who will speak on “The Human Approach: How to Care for and Love Your Employees with a Focus on Career Development.”
The world of work has changed dramatically. From COVID to staffing shortages to fluctuations in the economy, many HR leaders have been running hard for a long time and treading water to stay afloat of the many daily challenges.
However, the time is now to stop the fire drills and change our mindset from reactionary to being proactive. And the best way is to start with fundamental needs of our employees- caring for them as a person, getting to know them as people and integrating a career development mindset and focus along with the right tools.
No matter if you ask employees about their career aspirations or not they will leave. So, you might as well build a program now to hold onto the ones you’ve got and love them while they’re with you.
There is a time and a place for everything. But since the great resignation in the Fall of 2021, smart employers have no choice other than to bring humanity back to the workplace and focus on career development.
We will be gathering at the West Shore Country Club, located in Camp Hill. Registration and breakfast will begin at 8am. This meeting is pending approval for general recertification credits.
The registration deadline for this event is November 29.
