This quick summer update will provide essential information and context for this season, as well as outline our plans to support you beyond our annual January update meeting. Michael​ J Crocenzi: Mike is a partner in Barley Snyder’s Employment Law and Litigation groups. Mike steadfastly guides clients through difficult and complex employment problems. Relying on more than three decades of experience, Mike listens to clients and provides practical solutions for a wide variety of employment issues. Mike is often called upon to protect his clients’ rights. He has handled numerous employment cases in federal court and state court, as well as administrative agencies. 

Catherine E. Walters is a partner in the law firm of Bybel Rutledge LLP where she provides management-side employment and traditional labor services for employers of all sizes, including privately and publicly held companies, government contractors, institutions of higher education, health care providers, trade associations and non-profit organizations.  Her practice spans an array of industries, including financial and banking, manufacturing, defense contracting, education, health care, professional services, insurance, construction, technology, retail, real estate, transportation, restaurant and hospitality.  Catherine’s extensive experience and collaborative skills enable her to partner with her clients to develop creative, practical, business-oriented solutions to their legal challenges.  She focuses on identifying current and emerging trends in order to provide clients with proactive legal advice aimed at managing and preventing emerging risks.  Her emphasis on strategic thinking and focused solutions enables her to provide employers with the sophisticated counsel that has become necessary in today’s complex business environment.  Catherine regularly appears before federal and state courts and administrative agencies; she is also a frequent speaker for various types of groups, providing programs for human resources professionals, client and trade organizations, and continuing legal education for attorneys.

Katherine English (Committee Chair): Katherine is the President & Owner of Advocacy Claims Management, LLC, utilizing two decades of business management success in human resources, operational refinement, customer service, insurance, fleet, legal management, and holistic wellness and sustainability strategies to advocate for her clients, their employees, and customers.  With her broad scope of competencies and experience, she helps her clients protect their interests and bring added value, unique perspective and opportunities for employees and customers.  

Katherine is also the owner of Rock Hill Heritage Farm of Hershey, advocating to move citizens, businesses, and the community beyond sustainability. She is a public speaker, regenerative farmer, community volunteer, and permaculture teacher.  Her holistic management and design background yields a truly unique perspective that benefits her businesses as well as her community, finding healthier solutions and outcomes for all.  She is a SHRM member and has been active with HRPCPA since 2018 via the Legal and Legislative Committee.
