Topic: Diversity Today - Being More Inclusive Tomorrow

Session Overview:

Mauricio is a nationally recognized speaker with 29 years of experience leading a team of DEI experts at his organization, Diversity Training Group, based in Herndon, Virginia. Mauricio’s PA clients include State of PA government, school districts and environmental groups. Mauricio will walk us through an interactive session starting with unconscious and conscious biases and lead us to best DEI practices for the future. Attendees will also learn how to become a change agent and build their emotional intelligence skills, as well as, walk away with actionable tools and skills to bring back to the workplace.

Mauricio serves as a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategist, consultant, trainer, sexual harassment prevention trainer, emotional intelligence, unconscious bias, employee engagement/trust trainer, 360/executive coaching, and expert witness. He assists organizations with “winning the war for talent” and “being employers of choice” including Ombudsman/Retention Services (investigations, stay, exit, post exit interviews). DTG’s headquarters are located in Herndon, Virginia.

Mauricio has trained and educated over 1 million employees, managers, and executives in the areas of diversity, gender equity, mentoring, respect, dignity in the workplace and marketplace, and trust and engagement in higher performance. He has worked in every state but North Dakota and has traveled to more than 75 countries.
