In a world increasingly disconnected despite technological advances, the need for meaningful human connection has never been greater. Someone To Tell It To (STTIT) addresses this gap through the transformative power of compassionate listening. This session introduces STTIT’s 6-Step Listening Model, designed to enhance empathy, reduce conflict, and foster deeper understanding in workplaces and communities. Participants will learn to create environments where people feel heard, valued, and respected, addressing challenges like loneliness and burnout.
During this session, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the importance of belief-driven listening that values others as worthy of being heard.
- Achieve a better understand your own listening style and optimal settings for deep listening. With these insights, you can tailor your approach to each person and situation.
- Explore the four levels of listening and how to apply them effectively.
- Gain tools to foster connection, resolve conflict, and create a culture of care using co-founder’s of STTIT’s third book Listening 2by2: A Paradigm Shift for Leaders (That’s When the Magic Happens!
Listening isn’t just a skill—it’s a mindset that transforms relationships, builds trust, and strengthens company culture. Walk away equipped to lead with empathy and inspire change through the art of deep listening.
This session has been approved for 1.0 general SHRM/HRCI certification credit
To receive SHRM and/or HRCI credits for virtual meetings, attendees must be logged in no later than 5 minutes after the start and remain for the entire session, with no more than a 5-minute early departure. Attendance certificates will only be issued to those meeting these requirements.
