“Navigating Political Divisiveness - Who Are We Protecting?” will take participants through a thorough process of unpacking how to handle politics in the workplace. Sara & Jim will take participants through a framework of “inside the box” thinking that can trap HR and organizational leaders into being offended when someone expresses their political views at work. Rather than just send the employee home, there is an opportunity for HR – and our leaders – to pause and lead with curiosity to better understand themselves and their employees. This will foster conversations in the workplace rather than naively hide and hope politics doesn’t come up.
This session will involve presentations, stories from Jim & Sara, and participants will use tools from the book: Leadership and Self-Deception.
