This program was developed to be both educational and informative, offering legal context and updates on the first 100 days of a new presidency and any resulting radical changes. It is designed to contribute to our HR Series through the Legal and Legislative Teams’ focus on risk management and the prevention of legal issues, fostering a comprehensive discussion around legality and its implications for human resources professionals.

Presenter Bio and Expertise:
Catherine Walters, Esq: Catherine is a partner in the law firm of Bybel Rutledge LLP where she provides management-side employment and traditional labor services for employers of all sizes, including privately and publicly held companies, government contractors, institutions of higher education, health care providers, trade associations and non-profit organizations. Her practice spans an array of industries, including financial and banking, manufacturing, defense contracting, education, health care, professional services, insurance, technology, retail, real estate, transportation, restaurant and hospitality. Catherine’s extensive experience and collaborative skills enable her to partner with her clients to develop creative, practical, business-oriented solutions to their legal challenges. She focuses on identifying current and emerging trends in order to provide clients with proactive legal advice aimed at managing and preventing emerging risks. Her emphasis on strategic thinking and focused solutions enables her to provide employers with the sophisticated counsel that has become necessary in today’s complex business environment. Catherine regularly appears before federal and state courts and administrative agencies; she is also a frequent speaker for various types of groups, providing programs for human resources professionals, client and trade organizations, and continuing legal education for attorneys.
