Presenter Dr. Dan Jensen is an independent consultant specializing in strategic planning, leadership, eduction, and training.  Before embarking in a consulting career Dr. Jensen served for over 26 years as an Army officer.  He earned a Masters of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, an M.S. in Human Resource Administration from Southeast Missouri State University, and a B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  He received his Doctorate in Adult Education from Penn State Harrisburg.

This presentation will address how to define and operationalize an organizational strategic plan, define the components of strategic planning to include an organization philosophy (mission, vision, values, core competencies), goals, objectives, action plans, and measurements.  Participants will learn to understand the definition, utility, and aims of Strategic Planning, define the Strategic Environment and apply the workshop content by developing action plans in support of strategic goals and objectives.

This program has been approved by SHRM and HRCI for 1.5 Strategic credits.
