11:00 am - 1:00 pm

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes Employment Projections every two years.  These projections develop information about the labor market for the Nation as a whole for 10 years in the future.  The latest set of projections, published in December 2015, cover the time period 2014-2024.  These include projections as to which jobs will be the fastest growing and which will have the most new jobs added over the next decade.  Paired with this, the 2016-17 Occupational Outlook Handbook gives detailed information on various occupations including salary, education required, and state and local data.  The presentation prepared includes some general background information on the U.S. BLS, and then dives into the Employment Projections and Occupational Outlook Handbook.

This program has been approved by SHRM and HRCI for 1.5  (Business) recertification credits.

Lunch will be provided for those registering prior to April 14th.
