Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to recognize and understand your emotions so as to manage your reactions in a way that creates positive results.  Some of us manage our reactions while others get managed by them.

Like a muscle, the more you work EQ the stronger it becomes.  This session will educate and inspire the audience on the "how to's" for practicing self-awareness.  Everyone should leave with a new found power to actively control what they say and do; managing their reactions to situations and people.  The session will deliver case studies and polling data in a very interactive, collaborative workshop.  Attendees will be challenged to choose the best reaction based on emotions, recognize and understand emotions.

This program has been approved by SHRM and HRCI for 1.5 General credits.  Lunch will be provided for those registering prior to July 14th.
