The Fabric of Business (SHRM Foundation DVD)

Presenter, Carrie Traeger currently serves as the Vice President of Information Technology and Human Resources as Property Management, Inc., a premier commercial and residential real estate management firm in Central Pennsylvania.  Carrie's passion for education and professional development drive many of her interests outside of work.  As a current meember of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Human Resource Professionals of Central PA (HRP of CPA), Carrie works to continue to expand her human resource knowledge and assist other professionals with their continued education.  Carries is a member of HRP of CPA Professional Development Committee where she previously served as the Committee Chair and as a member of the HRP of CPA Board.  Currently, Carrie serves as the President of the School Board of Directors for the South Eastern School District in York County, PA.

In this age of accounting scandals and corporate wrongdoing, progressive organizations are seeking ways to foster a more ethical corporate culture.  This DVD profiles Lockheed Martin, Inc. and explores their work in promoting ethics in the workplace.  Attendees will learn how an organization can build an ethical foundation, what role training can play in organizational ethics and HR's contribution to the ethical framework of an organization.

This program has been approved by SHRM and HRCI for 1.5 Business/Strategic recertification hours.

Lunch will be provided for those registering prior to September 15th.
