Employment Cost Trends

The goal of the Economic Analysis and Information office of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics is to provide accurate, detailed, and understandable data to the public on a wide variety of economic subjects. In his time thus far at the Bureau, Robin Hildick has attended conferences and given presentations across the Mid-Atlantic area on employment, wages, benefits, and more, to both professional and academic audiences.

This presentation will go through the two BLS programs covered by the National Compensation Survey-the Employment Cost Index (ECI) and Employer Costs for Employee Compensation (ECEC). You will learn what they are, how they are collected, and how to use them for your business.

 This program has been approved by SHRM and HRCI for 1.5 Business credits.
